I enjoyed "art" in school and had a wonderful, motivating teacher in my later years. The Poms among us will recognize that I sat and passed an "O level" art exam at General Certificate. Aside from sketching and the odd watercolour painting with my Dad, it was put on hold after school.
a wise decision. I made the decision to immerse myself in local community life because I didn't know anyone else in the area besides Richard's parents.
The friendship, support, and talent I discovered at the Society have been greatly appreciated. The wonderful work I see there never ceases to inspire me. Being a "late bloomer," I am aware of how much I still need to learn. I've discovered that the journey goes on regardless of how late it starts.
